Focus on The One
Today as I was reading I came upon a quote that has impacted and inspired my thinking and I wanted to share it with you.
If you can’t feed one hundred people, then feed just one. - Mother Theresa
As I begin to think about this profound and simple statement a question began to arise in my spirit: “Why do we always want to talk about what we can’t do, instead of doing what we can do?”
If you can’t bless 100 neighbors, then bless just one.
If you can’t help 100 children, then help just one.
If you can’t make 100 disciples, then make just one.
If you can’t encourage 100 pastors ,then encourage just one.
If you can’t share the gospel with 100 people, then share with just one.
If you can’t give 100 dollars, then give just one.
If we all started doing what we can do instead of talking about what we can’t do the world would be a much different place. Do what you can do instead of talking about what you can’t do.
What have you been thinking and saying that you can’t do? I challenge you today to stop focusing on what you can’t do, and begin doing what is in your power to do.
James 4:17 - Remember, it is sin to know what you ought to do and then not do it.
Until the nets are full,
