I am unsure where I heard this from but it sparked something in me. I began thinking on this and what it means especially for what we are living in now.
2 Corinthians 1:20-22 (NLT)
“For all of God’s promises have been fulfilled in Christ with a resounding “Yes!” And through Christ, our “Amen” (which means “Yes”) ascends to God for his glory.
It is God who enables us, along with you, to stand firm for Christ. He has commissioned us,and he has identified us as his own by placing the Holy Spirit in our hearts as the first installment that guarantees everything he has promised us.”
Our promises from God, the things that He has spoken over us are Yes and Amen. Forever settled in heaven.
Just because there is a pandemic in the world does not mean God has forgotten what He has called you to do and when He has called you to do it. His promises to us are not forgotten but are forever. He is on the move in your life and in my life, we need to cling to Him and wait on Him. He will have His way! His promises are forever settled in Heaven and are Yes and Amen!
He has a plan for you and for me. Now is a perfect time to rise above what we are facing in our lives right now. To rise above what the world is saying. To rise above fear, fear of covid that would paralyze us, fear of failure fear of so many other things. God is bigger than all that we see, falsely believe and He is waiting for us to rise.
Take Him at His word, grab a hold of those promises and move forward in His strength, in faith that if He said it, He meant it and He will use us to do it!
Philippians 2:13
“For God is working in you, giving you the desire and the power to do what pleases him.”
