Proverbs 3:5-6 (NLT)
“Trust in the Lord with all your heart; do not depend on your own understanding. Seek His will in all you do, and he will show you which path to take.”
This is one of the first scripture verses I memorized when I got saved. It has encouraged me in many different seasons of life to trust God no matter what!
Right now I am leaning on God in many new ways and the struggle has been real and tears have been shed but God reminds me in a still small voice that He is in control and He has each circumstance and situation in His hands.
This is absolutely reassuring but it can be a tug of war between me wanting to control it all and God controlling it all. If you tend to be a control freak like me, you understand the war that wages on the inside.
I want to encourage you today, God DOES have it. There are things that only He can do that no matter how hard I try, it would never be possible for me. He knows all and takes care of all. The battle I face is with myself and slowly God is helping me overcome that so my peace returns and trust that He has a perfect will for all!
I am praying for God to help us release our “control” and allow His Spirit to take over in every area, from our children, marriage, finances, whatever it is today, lean into Him trust Him and He will show us which path to take and give us peace!
